The Madison Animal Rescue Foundation is a non-profit foundation that will build a new rescue-friendly animal shelter for the city of Madison, Alabama. Madison ARF was founded by its Director, Miki Bennett, and is run jointly by Miki and volunteers.
To Rescue as many homeless animals from the City of Madison, Alabama as possible. To develop an adoption program and spay/neuter program for the City of Madison. To build a new rescue-friendly animal shelter for the City of Madison that will accommodate future population growth, and promote a positive public image for the City.
Promote the humane treatment of animals
Establish a rescue-friendly environment through adoption programs and public awareness
Promote the importance of Spaying and Neutering to control the pet population
Ensure every animal adopted from the Madison Shelter is vaccinated and spayed or neutered
Build a rescue-friendly shelter the community and city will be proud of
Provide for proper disease control
Educate the community on the humane treatment of animals
